In mythology Leo is often associated with the Greek myth of the Nemean Lion which was killed by Hercules during one of his twelve labors, and subsequently put into the sky, as well as the mythological figure of Penelope, from the Greek myth of the Trojan War. Leo is also associated with the Greco-Roman god Apollo and sometimes also the gods Helios/Sol, Ra, and Huitzilopochtli and the goddess Sunna.
Leos are typically pictured as very dignified and regal. They are hard-working, ambitious and enthusiastic, however they are prone to laziness and can often take "the easy way out."
They are often lovers of the finer things in life. They are associated with gold, jewelry, fashion, luxury items and adornment. Because of their creative nature, they tend to not stick with the boring and mundane, and look for excitement in life.
In astrology Leo is ruled by the Sun. Has our civilization and planet not ruled by the cycles or saros of the sun? Our Calendar system, our work schedules most typically and most religion, our seasons, time, etc.
The Indian equivalent of Leo is Simha, the Chinese equivalent is the Monkey. Do they not refer to the Pope as a Primate still in the Catholic Religion? This would cover the monkey and lion connection.
Even the story of the Lion King and the Circle of Life features the african mythos and Rafiki is the medicine man baboon the monkey and Mufasa is the King and his mate, Sarabi which means Mirage (illusion/Vision)
who bears Simba...Close resemblance to this chinese astrology connection. It is the story of Simba which means Lion (LEO) in Swahili and Nala which means GIFT in Swahili, two lion cubs who grow up and complete the circle of life, but give hope with the birth of their daughter Sarafina which means STAR (Aquarius). This disney classic is also the story of the cycle of the sun or the stars. The ritual of the birth of the SUN KING And the Birth of a new STAR.

The opposite sign to Leo is Aquarius. From Aquarius, Leo can learn to share in a caring manner and occasionally leave "center stage" to others. Thus, can Leo natives learn to stand alone and value themselves.
The rulers can learn to share from the Aquarian agers. If they will give up their power to the Aquarians.

Is not god referred to as the alpha and the omega and the beginning and the end. Well I don't know if you know what age or house our present 2000 years is in, but I can tell you it is under the age of Aquarius. Well Leo was the beginning and Aquarius being its opposite is their plan for the end. The aeon of aquarius started around 1903. This Aeon of Horus. This new age movement.
But Aquarius is also the star. The Star and Hope. Pandora's Box. Hope was preserved people. WE can teach them it doesn't have to end. The people can help resolve the problems together. This is the age of Aquarius.... Unite People against the enslavement of religion.
Aquarius represents mankind, the water carrier, the current of the universe is a cycle. Mankind is the Eye in the triangle. The "I" in the triangle. Placed inside the pyramid. The den of enslavement. Imprisoned by the angle and the floor of the pyramid. The pyramid or delta is a symbol of water. The Ego is I, we must rid the ego to set the I free. The G stands for understanding and God and we are stars and we must unite to teach the Leos in the world how to share. We must absolve the Ego to understand the path to At one ment.
Hey Leo's detrement is Saturn the God-eater, named planet. Another name for this God is Kronos or Chronos or Chronozon. Father of Time, Origen, Creation. No wonder they are sending rockets full of Plutonium up to the planet Saturn. I did think this was kind of weird that they tried to send plutonium to Saturn. But I understand now. Earth also has a connection to Saturn.
Those who study the past, are doomed to repeat the future. It keeps happening but we are in the age of Aquarius. There is HOPE. It is each one of us. The STARS and Gods or SUNS that we are as individuals. WE can restore humanity and hope if we quit believing the religions of the world, mythology and history that they gave us. We can evolve. We can get rid of hate and violence. All wars are started in the name of religion! ALL OF THEM! ALL were started in the name of FREEDOM from the LIONS that would be their Oppressors. WE have the light within us. We are our own Gods.
Did the Kings and Rulers not consider them selves lions? Did they not hold big gladiator matches with Lions to show how much power they had? Do they not have Lion's on their Flags and Family Crests?
This is much like walking into a den of lions that was prophesied in the book of Daniel. Or the Lion of Judah that was talked about in the book of Isaiah.
maybe we should say that the Devil is our Government and those that rule the world, and they want us to worship the Government and Rulers/Kings/Priest/Churches as the Gods of our world. Perhaps, Jesus was saying that his God is most high and that's why they killed him in his day. Because he was messing up the way things were done around back then with the Gods being the Kings and Emperors or the Pope. They weren't worshiping God in art in Heaven. They were worshiping God who art on MT. Olympus/Capitol Hill (Washington D.C. and what gives that away is that Olympia is the capital of the state of Washington). I think our approach has been offensive. We are putting our Country before God most high and the love of Money and possessions above spiritual "at-one-ness". We have lost direction in that sense.
